Chamber Alliance Grant Opportunity Announcement

Established in 1997, The Chamber Alliance of the Mohawk Valley is an association of independent chambers of commerce and affiliate organizations with approximately 3,000 members whose purpose is to represent and promote the collective interests of the Chambers of Commerce of the Mohawk Valley.

The 2015 Chamber Alliance Member Grant Award has been established to provide cash and advertising prizes for businesses that belong to at least one of the (Chamber Alliance) chambers to assist in improving or promoting their businesses. All current members of (Chamber Alliance) chambers are eligible to apply. Our hope is these grants will strengthen your business or organization and help create partnerships with fellow chamber members through the use of their goods and services.

All winners will be announced at The Chamber Alliance Awards Luncheon on Friday, May 8, 12pm at Hart's Hill Inn, Whitesboro.

Member Grant Award ~ Application Guidelines and Proposal Criteria 

The Member Grant will Award:

Award # 1 $1,500.00 Advertising Package from Roser Communications
$ 500.00 Cash from the Chamber Alliance of the Mohawk Valley

Runner-Up $ 750.00 Advertising Package from Roser Communications
$ 250.00 Cash from the Chamber Alliance of the Mohawk Valley

Runner-Up $ 750.00 Advertising Package from Roser Communications
$ 250.00 Cash from the Chamber Alliance of the Mohawk Valley

Proposal Criteria:
Brief description of how the grant money will be used to benefit your business. For example:
• Upgrade/replace specific equipment
• Provide educational opportunities for your employees (computer classes, accounting classes, etc.)
• To establish or improve ongoing promotion of your business (advertising campaign, brochure design,
and production)
• Improvements such as infrastructure, beautification, renovations, repairs, signage, etc.
Please also include the following, if applicable, in your proposal:
• How the grant will benefit your business?
• How will you use fellow chamber members as your sources for products or services if you are
awarded a grant?
• How will the grant have an impact on the local business community?
• Your level of participation or contributions (if any) to your local chamber.
